I’m not a big fan of MJ.. regardless, it’s such a loss for the music industry.. and the whole world is surely still in grief over his shocking death.. I have a friend who’s a die hard fan, and she’s so devastated. She grew up listening to MJ and I bet she had songs that really really helped her get through thick and thin.

Watching this video below brought tears rolling down my cheeks. You’ll be missed Jacko. Thank you for inspiring all of us with your music

Victory

He’d say the most casual things in the car. He’d look ahead the road and say things about her in the most delighted, appreciative voice. Sometimes, he’d take her hand as she started to drift away. She hated to be in the car. She hated long rides. He knew.

What he said this morning.

“Would you mind if I go first before you?”

What he asked a few minutes later in the car, while we were on the highway

Tuesday quickie

I’m still awake and it’s almost 2pm on a Tuesday. I can’t bring myself to sleep yet as there are so much things to get done since I was away last week.

Gosh, this blog is in such a mess. I don’t know when I’ll be able to revamp it properly.

Besides work, I’m a little worried about this H1N1 thingy which I probably would blog about later.

ZOMG! I so am going to post the gift which me and Shaq gave our dad for father’s day. Peeps on my FB would have probably listened to it already, tapi most of the hits mesti datang dari diri aku sendiri sebab aku memang suke syiok sendiri wahahaha. Which is why I MUST have it on my blog as well so I don’t have to log in to FB just to listen to it! ^_^

I should be working now, there are just too much to do

Rebirth: Tonguetwister

I’m never good with tonguetwisters. From simple ones such as red lorry yellow lorry red lorry yellow lorry – I could never tongue that line no more than 3 rounds without screwing it up. No better I am with How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? or

Have you ever thought of how practicing tongue twisters can really increase your brain productivity? Tongue twisters shouldn’t be just games and fave past time. Tongue twisters can help you think faster, speak eloquently, boost your attention span, get you to be more focused and oh, makes them french kisses more delish!

Now that you’ve read till this point, I hope you are determined to try out tongue twisters. Do it while you’re driving, do it while you’re showering, do it while you’re putting on make-up, do it while you’re queuing up at the toll gates, do it while you’re stuck in the traffic…

Try a tongue twister while you’re angry or nervous, it might loosen you up

Web Standards

I think my tonguetwister post is gone, dunno what happened to it. It was prolly eaten alive during the migration process!

Anyway for the past few days, we have been discussing about web standards. To me, personally, web standards is very much the same as SEO lah kot. People often come up with trendy and techy keywords and guideline for these 2 things, but at the end of the day

When I’m back from my holiday, I’ll probably write a blog post about my thoughts on web standards and the best practices that I try to follow, and why I do it

Walking down memory lane

It’s that time of the week again where a song from the past crossed your mind and you excitedly visit YouTube to look for that song.. then you came across other songs and more songs and more songs that reminded you how much you missed the good ol’ times

Early Thursday

For the sake and love of open source community, I went there as blondie-ish, and as bimbo-ish I could possibly be! Of course a smart one! It was my strategy to play that other part of me in Lamp2Win, as I’ve never had the chance before and I wanted to see whether that marketing, PR part of me existed. I’ve always played the technical and managerial role in the company, and I wanted to try something different this time

I would probably get a bitchslap or two if the quote got published, but lets just hope its a bitchslap that could turn out to be a spillover! Hahahahaha

Overall, I had fun, mostly because I think I did what I do best in the competition. Typing, writing, preparing and managing tasks, promo stuff, logging bug reports etc

And gosh, it’s such a self-accomplishment to me to be able to successfully work with yet, another hardcore programmer

Each time that happens, I feel really happy as to me, programmers are a group of skilled people that is very difficult to work with. I feel blessed to have this underlying charm and patience to work with them as they are great great awesome people and so much you can learn from them!

Now I gotta focus on my next project with yet another kickass programmer!! This one is going to be exciting!!

Note to self: must learn to be more aggressive. and more opportunistic. learn to brag brag brag brag. that is something seriously lacking in me!
