i like the fact dat almost anything can be opened in d browser… but im sure the advanced formatting of pdf, doc, excel wont be compatible right? hope they’ll improve that.. even as im using gmail now, i dont have to open docs n stuff in an ext app anymore..everything can be done via d brwoser.. beautiful man

seoul bugigi

arini lunch kat seoul bugigi.. lama tak lunch heavy2.. bes gila.. hmm been looking for a place to makan nasi campur tapi tak jumpe lagi yang senang via public transport.. haritu masa kat kl, ingat nak makan bawah pokok dekat area jln sultan sulaiman tapi hujan plak masa kat imbi so leceh la nak go there..

harini makan ikan banyak.. aku suke ikan dekat seoul bugigi pelik kan..hahahaha… pastu aku pecah telur 2 biijikk .. pastu aku makan ice cream 3 mangkuk.. pastu aku habiskan semua udang kat situ.. wow udang fresh n gemok n banyak.. sorry sume org yang datang kat seoul bugigi circa 12-2pm tadi kat ou.. i hope dieorg refill udang lepas tu untuk korang ;p

siang drink n dessert die bes.. malam, ade lamb n more daging..

skang dah takde rase nak makan2 mewah lagi.. back to the frugality n disciplined life.. wahaha

pisau cukur rocks

wanted to watch 2012, but as usual tickets ran out since it was an unplanned visit to gsc. so next option was of course pisau cukur

i enjoy most of redfilms stuff so when i first watched the trailer, i knew it was going to be entertaining. and no one comes close to being ultimate whatevaaaa girl other than faizura.

so definitely this was a must watch

and omygucccii, i truly found the movie entertaining as heck. the gedikness, the intentional comical, bad cgi of the sea n the cruise love it

most surprisingly tho, someone who types banyak random stories in his blog made such an adorable appearance on pisau cukur. he was a little kaku at first, but slowly picked up pace later as his character bloomed

Since that little accident I had in March, I’ve been visiting Optimax on and off. The last one being yesterday to remove my 3rd bandage contact lens. This time around, I had a different treatment than usual where the doc poked the surface of my kornea with a tiny needle or whatevs to strengthen my epithelium so it wouldn’t tear so easily anymore. It didn’t hurt at all during the treatment but gosh, the pain was so unbearable later in the evening after I woke up from a nap. The pain was so excruciating that I had to stomach 2 capsules of Ponstan.

I haven’t touched Ponstan for the past 2 years…. I vowed not to take Ponstan no matter how bad my period pain is and there I was going against my principle!! And worst, not for period pain but for EYEEE PAINN!! Gheeessshh

I hope I’m fully healed now. I’m currently on GenTeal Eye Drops & GenTeal Gel, the two best things on earth!!!!!

Long ass pre-raya post

u see i havent been back @ my parents for nearly a month.. hahah.. today was the first buka puasa i had with them.. they tapau of all things.. nasi from saba!! hahahahaa… of all the food in the world, they chose cyber food to buka puasa with.. to celebrate my 1st buka puasa with them if that aint ausom, wat is!!

so anyway, it rained heavily this evening.. at one point, the house actually went pitch black coz the thunderstorm was sooo bad it shut off the electricity for a while.. everyone was laughing coz it has never happened before thruout the whole month no matter how bad the thunderstorm was..

berkat OTB balik berbuka di rumah.. hauhauahuaa

i followed them to masjid shah alam tonite for terawikh.. i stayed till the end.. i must say its not the same as what i experienced a few yrs ago at thaat superrrrrrrrrrrrr magical place.. but twas nice esp the bacaan doa berlagu dalam bahasa melayu.. dang that came str8 from his heart and str8 to mine :)

mmmmmm.. it feels so nice not thinking about work at all…. although ive already gotten a couple of sms’es from clients who just dont want to give me a break..lol.. i’ll decide if i want to deal with them by tomorrow…

i have a lot of stuff to pay by tomorrow.. i hope to get my lazy ass get them all done n over with later…

i wanna write friday mixtape but its so uncomfy here on the lappy..pfft.. so i guess there will be no friday mixtape this week.. but a long ass what-im-up-to friday post instead..ok wattt? i havent done it in a while

this ramadhan has been a hectic hectic month for us.. syukur alhamdulillah.. altho he just doesnt get how bz n stressed n overworked i was this month.. i figured i dont have to rationale everything.. instead i just bluntly told him.. ahhh ok la tu summarized version of everything..takkan i wanna tell everything kuttt?

sadly tak sempat bershopping raya..bertherapy perut dan minda dan otak je.. but gosh, was the vacation n treat muchly needed or what… sighssssssss.. heaven gile.. im really really glad i took that vacation…. it really cleared up my head…ive been stressed mcm hape tah lately……………….

09 is going to end in about 3 months or so.. and gosh, this year has been… fantastic.. from every aspects it has been fantastic.. and life-changing…

Sri Kulai ready-to-eat Meal

I get busy so often that at most times, I’d have no time to prepare any meals for myself. It doesn’t help that I like to work at odd hours where access to food is scarce. So I always find solutions to make my life easier and find food that can be prepared quickly, with no hassle and at most convenience.

With it being the fasting month now, discovering Sri Kulai is heaven sent.

Last year, I found out about Mangkuk Tingkat and was so stoked about the concept that I ordered it for a month just before Ramadhan. However, I was frustrated with their ridiculous service and canceled my sahur package, thank God I got my money back. I bitched about it in OTB but can’t seem to find the post anymore pffft

So I was skeptical when my dad introduced me to Sri Kulai as it’s really not new to me as I’ve seen products like these in supermarkets and marts like KK in BB. It had the whole frozen dishes lah, nasi lemak, roti canai and the likes of other local Malaysian foods. It looked too kerah kejong and icy cold and no way it’s going to be edible so I never bothered to try them out

Then my dad brought me to see Sri Kulai concept store in Jaya One. I was impressed with the simple setting of the cafe, it had a couple of microwaves lined up for people who would like to dine in and a display fridge for people who’d like to buy the products. The packaging and branding was so pretty that I couldn’t help but to feel even more skeptical about the quality of the food. Terror marketing ni…

We bought two products to try out, Nasi Lemak and Mee Rendang

Tear half of the wrapper, pop it in the microwave (or you could steam it as ell), then with your microwave power level set High, you’d have your meal ready in 4 minutes. Read my lips, that’s 4 minutes

I’d usually take an hour or two to cook nasi lemak, about 15-30 mins to go out and buy one…. with Sri Kulai, it’s just 4 freaking minutes and considering how busy I can get, it’s really convenient and fulfilling. Dude, when I’m busy and hungry, I just want to eat!! Whether it’s super duper menjilat jari or not, that doesn’t matter!!!

But I’d have to say, the sambal was pretty damn menjilat jari!! But I was more amazed with the quality and texture of the rice!!! 4 minutes before, it was as hard as a rock and suddenly, its soft like it’s just been cooked in a rice cooker, Phillips RM 179 ok? hahahaha

And I’d have to say kudos to AYS for making this product; for the convenience that it offers to people like me – and most importantly, for keeping the quality and taste of the food as good as the real thing. This kinda proves that you guys aren’t all about the money and the fame lah.. it wasn’t the best Nasi Lemak I’ve ever had but if I’ve never tasted Nasi Lemak before and bought Sri Kulai to try it out – it’s almost the same as the real thing. The rendang was really decent, sambal was nice, anchovies and nuts were crunchy.. amazing!

So good luck for taking the products abroad, you guys would do us, Malaysians proud!

ps: I’ll be stocking up my freezer soon with more of your goodies as I’d be super busy this whole fasting month, you guys are excellent alternatives to mamak for sahur!

Sir, we may not know each other but I just would like you to know that you’ve been one my inspirations and motivator to be a smarter entrepreneur. I learnt so much from reading your blog when I first started out about 3 years ago and you’re truly an inspiring entrepreneur in my eye! Thank you so much for sharing your experiences :)

When we first started out, it was really hard to make family & friends know what we are doing because they were much familiar with the idea of getting employed and getting paid each month whether or not you really did any work in the office (wahahaha!) – yes, I admit it was really hard to build your empire and make people notice. It is harder when you’re pretty down to earth people whom don’t brag! Sometimes bragging NEEDS to be done, kan? But nah, we chose to let our works and skills speak, always.

But trust me, the least that matter is what people think of you. You don’t have to tell them over and over again. If they have certain thoughts about you, you should just let them be. You have a goal to achieve, you don’t need unnecessary emotional baggage

If you want them to acknowledge you faster, feel free to brag and kick off shameless plugs here and there, hang a big huge sign around your neck if you’d like – but don’t forget to think about the ‘expectation’ you have to meet later, for all the bragging

I’m not a big fan of MJ.. regardless, it’s such a loss for the music industry.. and the whole world is surely still in grief over his shocking death.. I have a friend who’s a die hard fan, and she’s so devastated. She grew up listening to MJ and I bet she had songs that really really helped her get through thick and thin.

Watching this video below brought tears rolling down my cheeks. You’ll be missed Jacko. Thank you for inspiring all of us with your music
