Yasmin Ahmad, you’ve touched the souls of many Malaysian viewers. You’ve inspired many aspiring young filmmakers, one of them being my very own friend. I can imagine how hurtful she’s feeling right now for losing one of her idols, for losing one of her inspirations to excel in filmmaking…

To her, I hope she’ll keep working hard to achieve her dreams..

And to you, you will be surely missed.. for your genuine and honesty movies, for the predictable yet still memorable movies, for your beautiful cinematography..
