Let the Morning Come

No 1, my partner is crazy about paintings, illustrations, animated stuff that is beautiful and morbid. Like David Firth stuff.

No 2, our company’s website is almost 3 years old now and we feel it just doesn’t justify our growth, our current works, our improved skill sets. We wanted to revamp it since early 2008 but never had the time to work on it properly.

No 3, but it’s slowly happening now. We’re in the early stages of drafting the design concept and revamping the site architecture. Our aim is to make the info more structured and focused. The design concept? No 1 is the hint. My partner is working with a very talented and kickass artist to realize the visual concept for our version 2 website

I am very excited to see the whole process taking into place, and can’t wait to see the final output of the design concept. In the meantime, we’re also working on restructuring the site architecture and revising our copywriting

There’s a big change of our CI too, not limited to just coming up with a new logo but including the whole works of design, communication and behaviour

I can’t estimate the deadline of the new site, but I’m really hoping for it to happen soon.

Didn’t I once say I was a fan of the month, July? July sounds so good in lyrics and stories, don’t you think?

Lets see if it works well with a website launch too

Good morning Tuesday people!

I had a very satisfying sleep after decades of unstable hormones and bursting pimples due to improper sleep. She was late for work today coz she too had a very satisfying sleep coz we had the aircond ran too long last night. Yes, we don’t use aircond all the time tho we coz because we are really poor people. I’m jealous at those staying in the apartment across they can turn it on 24/7 sobsob. But I wouldn’t want to move there either, oh no pls..

Hiring

Of late, I’ve been talking to, interviewing, analyzing people to hire. I love the process of discovering talents. I told that to one of the applicants who simply provided me their resume without any other word. It didn’t make me mad that they simply attached their resume and gave the subjet Jobs neither did it surprise me.

And eventhough I could or should, I didn’t trash their email immediately

Dropping your resume without any introduction? Come on, you can do better than that

I see you’re a fresh graduate. So tell me a little about yourself and why you chose IT as your major of study.

Did you like it? What did you like the most?

Out of the subjects you took, which was your fave?

Why did you enroll into IT? Has it been your dream course since high school or you just randomly picked IT when filling up your uni form?

I look forward to hear from you. In every individual, I believe there’s always an underlying talent. I love to discover that so don’t worry of being honest, okay?

Who knows that someday they would be a great Project Manager, an excellent bottoms-up Marketer, a PA you can count on and many many more.

You see, that’s the beauty about a small startup. You have time to go through the rather not so impressive candidates and analyze why.

But of course, I do set my standards after the first reply and say no to those who don’t have the interest, passion or motivation to strive forward. Do it as couraging as possible though. Never shut off an applicant for their lack of qualifications either on paper or during that interview sesson with you

You’d be pleased to know that they became a better person after the inteview session with you

I just want to laugh out loud

At this moment, I just want to laugh out loud with passion, with relief, with happiness, with chirpiness.

My dear baby boo, please don’t pull that stunt on me again okay? You almost got me tangled up in my nandos plastikbeg. And all that RM 35++ was for you today sayang. And it was so unnecessary, don’t you think?

And all that hard work you put me through. Sayanggg tolong don’t do this again, my heartbeat almost stopped. My brain almost blacked out

I hope we last till eternity sayang. I surely hope we do until we validate to be full-time lovers and not part-time anymore

is it just me or i find myo’s lyrics so cute.. like i know what’s on his mind while he writes all his songs.. i know how bad he wants to nail it.. and sometimes he overdoes it.. but at times it just wins spot on!

ireansAV: Re-defined YouTube

Long before the enforcement of copyright laws against online media took place, ireansMusic was one of the biggest social network sites in Malaysia next to popular sites such as Jiwang and Cari.

ireansMusic was not only unique in its concept and functionality but also for its intuitive and user friendly design and growing community that all cared and shared joys and sorrows with each other. Just like their tagline, Sharing is Caring

Soon after ireansMusic was shut down, their users started going different ways; some started new communities with fellow Ireans users, some went into blogging and some joined other communities

ireansAV was born in mid-May 2009 after months of thorough brainstorming and planning. The actual development phase only took awhile. The pre-production stage was much more important to ensure that ireansAV will have the same aura, the same vibe, the same effect just like ireansMusic. ireansMusic captured hearts all over the world and ireansAV would need to do the same as well

ireansAV is a site to share music videos from YouTube together with its lyrics. Think of it as an interactive lyrics database or online karaoke lounge. Some noticeable features that will be coming up soon are

Since its launched early today, May 15th 2009, 88 videos have been submitted and shared on the site, and we can predict there would be more to come in the next few weeks.

An email blast has been sent out to the existing user database of ireansMusic. It’s estimated that out of 100, 000 users, only 30, 000 would be back to ireansAV. Nevertheless, that’s already more than enough to kick off a fresh and new community!
